Rydal Hall Please click here for more information about Rydal courses. Enjoy beautiful music and develop your skills in the company of players of a similar ability. This course will include sessions for all participants to play together as well as in smaller groups. Questions of technique, style and interpretation will be explored within a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment. Develop your skills and explore new repertoire with a friendly group of like-minded players, expertly led by Mary Tyers. We will aim to study three pieces in depth, one each from the renaissance, baroque and more modern periods, and enjoy playing a few other pieces ‘for fun’ if time permits. They are aimed at competent adult players who ideally offer at least two instruments [C and F] and are able to swap between them. The ability to hold your own part in a group and good sight-reading skills are key. Expect a wide variety of interesting music provided by the Conductor.
